Lavender does work well on the face for acne.
An excellent aromatherapy recipe for acne is
    3 drops Lavender essential oil
    2 drops Chamomile essential oil
1 drop of Tea Tree essential oil.

I personally don”t use a base oil for this recipe and simply use a cue tip to rub the oil directly onto the pimple.

Lavender reduces the inflamed area, Chamomile soothes and moisturizes the skin and Tea Tree to fight off the infection from the bacteria that causes acne.

4:58 Oh, using peppermint for that foot scrub will be wonderful when summer comes around. What about using lavender scrub for my face to help my acne? Would that be safe or is there a better approach for problem complexions?
